Rules for transit protection

Use smart shipping rules to control which products in an order are covered by Transit Protection, based on conditions like product value, SKU, or delivery destination.
Updated 13 days ago

Use smart shipping rules to automatically apply or exclude transit protection for specific orders. This allows you to manage risk and costs effectively, especially if you ship a mix of high and low-value items.

Transit protection rules let you define exactly what gets covered. For example, you can ensure a $500 dining table is protected while excluding a $10 cleaning product from the same order, saving you from paying premiums on low-value items where the cost of protection might exceed the replacement cost.

These rules are evaluated per product when an order is created. If you do not create any Transit Protection rules, your account remains backward compatible, and all products continue to be covered as they were previously.
