What the integration includes

Key capabilities include:

• Dispatch events trigger Shippit automatically: When a warehouse dispatches an order in CartonCloud, the event syncs to Shippit, which handles carrier booking and label creation without an operator leaving the TMS.

• Live rate comparison: CartonCloud's pack screen shows rates from every connected carrier in real time as an order is packed, filtered automatically by carrier capability. A carrier is removed as an option if an order's weight or dimensions exceed its limits.

• An automated carrier rule engine: Businesses set logic for automatic carrier selection, including cheapest rate, fastest service, or routing by customer, destination, or requested service type. Rules run in sequence with a configurable fallback.

• Pre-negotiated freight rates: Shippit's exclusive rates are available through the integration, with CartonCloud customers reporting freight savings of around 20% on metro deliveries. 

• Bring-your-own carrier accounts: Operators can connect their own negotiated carrier accounts through Shippit alongside any walleted rates, rather than being tied to single-rate structure.

• Label printing: Labels print directly from CartonCloud, triggered by order events such as pack or dispatch.

• Two-way tracking sync: Tracking numbers return to CartonCloud automatically after dispatch and flow through to downstream platforms including Shopify and WooCommerce.

The integration provides access to carrier services, including Australia Post, StarTrack, CouriersPlease, Fastway, TNT, Allied Express, Aramex, NZ Post, and more.
