⏱ Weekly Carrier Transit Times | Australia & New Zealand | 20th March 2023.

With millions of delivery bookings made on Shippit every week, we’re continuously monitoring carrier performance.

We've distilled all that data into this transit time matrix which is designed to give you real-time data, enabling you to make the right decisions for your business!

Keep an eye on our Health Check Network Status Gauge which shows the latest capacity indicators for our partnered carriers.

This week's highlights:

  • The transit times across AU are within the expected service levels excluding North QLD. Most of our partnered carriers are performing within their normal transit times excluding a few lanes due to torrential rain and flooding in North Queensland. Thus, please expect delays for freight sent to and from Mount Isa and the surrounding regions.
  • Kimberley region flooding has impacted deliveries between Darwin and Broome & road freight from Perth. The road from Port Hedland to Broome remains closed until mid-June causing delivery delays for items being sent between Darwin and Broome. In addition, some road freight from Perth is also being re-directed through Darwin which will cause certain delays.
  • New Zealand's pickup and delivery services are continuously improving. As depots and services slowly re-open and return to normal after the recent weather events, please expect at least a 1-3 business days delay in transit times while some inevitable disruptions (e.g. slips, road closures) are still in place.
