What's changed
Our partnered carrier NZ Post has advised they will be increasing the price of their services effective from 1 July 2023.
Effective 1 July 2023, NZ Post will be implementing the following price increases & surcharges:
- An increase of 7% in freight charges for deliveries across all pricing zones (excluding rural)
- Rural surcharge $0.50 ex GST per consignment.
Effective 1 July 2023, NZ Post will also be making changes to the way the variable Fuel Rate (VFR) are calculated, for more information visit nzpost.co.nz/surcharges.
Why it's changing
Price changes reflect and contribute to:
- The increase in NZ Post rates & surcharges directly
- The increase in cost across NZ Post’s business operations
- Contribute to improving NZ Post’s network facilities and tools in order to maintain their high level of service
