How and when am I charged for shipping?

All shipping charges are billed per manifest generated on our platform.

What does that mean? Payment is collected in two different ways when you have booked a shipping consignment with Shippit.

If you have manually booked a delivery via the Send page, then you are charged upon booking at the end of the process.

If you are using our API to add orders to Shippit or one of our approved eCommerce plugins, you are charged simultaneously for all shipments that you have selected in the Ready to Ship screen after you click Book Now.
