CouriersPlease has recently made an update to its service terms and conditions.
From December 2019, CouriersPlease has decided to default all regional deliveries as Authority to Leave (ATL), including those that have been onforwarded to a third party carrier.
For deliveries to non-regional areas, you will still have the option to request Signature Required (SIG).
What happens next?
There is no major change required with how you’re currently booking within Shippit. To accommodate this change, we've updated our shipping labels for these types of deliveries.
You'll notice we've added `ATL` or `SIG` in bold text on the right-hand side of the labels (see example below). There are no changes to the label branding, barcodes, and size.
When confirming orders for CouriersPlease within Shippit, you can still manually tick Authority to Leave or leave this field blank if your delivery requires a signature. Remember, the signature request will only apply for deliveries to non-regional areas.
What about insurance coverage?
As CouriersPlease does not offer insurance coverage on ATL deliveries, in the event of loss or damage, unfortunately, there will be no complimentary insurance available on these deliveries.
