Reminder:

With COVID-19 cases starting to rise again, Allied Express will be continuing it's contactless delivery process to limit contact & keep their drivers safe.

What is contactless delivery?

If the receiver is not home and authority to leave (ATL) is applied to the order:

  • A physical signature is not required and the driver will leave the goods in a safe place

  • If there is no safe place, the goods will be returned to the depot for the receiver to arrange redelivery online

  • The driver will try to take a picture of where the goods have been left however this is not always possible

If the receiver is not home and a signature request is applied to the order:

  • The goods will be returned to the depot for the receiver to arrange redelivery online

If the receiver is home and authority to leave (ATL) is applied to the order:

  • The goods will be handed to the customer or left at the door

  • A physical signature is not required

If the receiver is home and a signature request is applied to the order:

  • A physical signature is not required and the driver will instead make note of the receiver themselves for proof of delivery

What is considered a safe place?

  • Out of wet weather, avoiding damage

  • Anywhere a pet is present and known to the driver

  • Out of direct sight from locations a main road

What if the goods are of high value & a signature is required?

We suggest using priority carriers or those who always offer a signature or contactless signature delivery service i.e Bonds, Allied Sameday, CouriersPlease, TNT, Toll Priority
