In the event of driver negligence, damage, theft, or even loss in the carrier network, be sure to check your coverage to ensure you're not at a loss.
Shippit supports are two types of protection:
- Carrier Insurance - Insurance provided from the carrier which may be complimentary or purchased directly from the carrier for orders booked on your own pre-negotiated rates.
- Transit Protection - Transit Protection is offered by Shippit and can be added on to any carrier you ship with through the Shippit platform. This allows you to cover your goods against loss or damage during transit up to the value of AUD$10,000, with no fees to pay to file a claim.
