Thursday 9th Sept, 2021: NZ Post / Shippit API Outage.
Please be advised that the NZ Post website is experiencing intermittent disruptions as a result of some issues at one of our third-party IT suppliers.
Maintaining our systems is a priority and so as a result we are scheduling urgent maintenance tonight.
In order to make the necessary changes to our IT systems, there will be a temporary outage of all our major operational platforms.
This means during this time you won’t be able to use the below services through the Shippit platform:
- Book pick-ups
- Check and validate addresses
- Generate and print labels
- Track items
These (and other services including tools on our website) will be off-line from 7pm – 8:30pm tonight (Thursday 9th September) Local, NZT.
While this is our planned timeframe, please be aware this is significant maintenance and there is a chance it may extend.
We apologise for this outage and the potential disruption to your operation, especially at such a business-critical time for us all as we manage the ongoing challenges of Covid Alert Level conditions.
