Help with connecting and configuring your printer in Pick & Pack.

Setting up an AirPrint printer

  1. Ensure your printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your device

  2. Go to Settings → Devices → Printer

  3. Select AirPrint / Native as your printer method

  4. When you generate a label, your device's print dialog will appear with available printers listed

If your printer doesn't appear in the print dialog, confirm it supports AirPrint and is on the same Wi-Fi network. Try toggling Wi-Fi off and on on your device to refresh the printer list.

Setting up a Zebra label printer (Zebra Direct)

  1. Connect your Zebra printer to your Wi-Fi network and note its IP address (usually found in the printer's network settings or a test print)

  2. Go to Settings → Devices → Printer

  3. Select Zebra Direct as your printer method

  4. Enter the printer's IP address and port (default Zebra port is typically 9100)

  5. Tap Test Print to confirm the connection

Common issues

Test print fails

  • Double-check the IP address and port — a single wrong digit will prevent connection

  • Confirm the printer and your device are on the same Wi-Fi network or subnet

  • Some enterprise networks block direct device-to-printer communication — check with your IT team if the printer is on a managed network

Labels print but are blank or misaligned

  • Run a calibration print from the printer itself (hold the Feed button on startup on most Zebra models)

  • Check that the correct label size is loaded and matches the printer's configured media size

Printer was working but has stopped responding

  • Check whether the printer's IP address has changed — some networks assign new IPs after restarts. Update the IP in Settings → Devices → Printer if needed

  • Power cycle the printer and retry

No printer configured — label doesn't print

If no printer is configured, Pick & Pack shows View Label instead of printing automatically. Tap View Label to open the label PDF on your device, then print from there.
