FedEx Australia

Priority / International Service

  • Sydney (FedEx) / Sydney – Erskine Park to Brisbane – Redbank: Delays due to engineering works. Outstanding consignments are scheduled for delivery on Friday, 24 July 2026.

  • Mackay / Rockhampton to various locations: Delays due to engineering works. Outstanding consignments are scheduled for delivery on Friday, 24 July 2026.

  • Perth – Welshpool to Cairns, Townsville, Adelaide Airport, and Launceston: Delays due to late lodgments. Outstanding consignments are scheduled for delivery on Friday, 24 July 2026.

International Exports Service

  • Brisbane – Redbank to Sydney (FedEx): Delays due to supplier issues. Recovery will occur via the next available international flights.

Road Service

  • Melbourne Airport to Perth – Welshpool: Delays due to supplier issues. Outstanding consignments are scheduled for delivery on Friday, 24 July 2026.

  • Sydney – Erskine Park and Melbourne Airport to Perth – Welshpool: Delays due to mechanical issues. Outstanding consignments are scheduled for delivery on Friday, 24 July 2026.

Exports Service

  • Gold Coast to Sydney (FedEx): Delays due to road closures. Recovery will occur via weekend uplift.


FedEx International

Service Update – Middle East

FedEx continues to monitor and evaluate the situation in the Middle East. Pickup and delivery services have resumed across the region where it is deemed safe and in accordance with local guidance. Customers shipping to or from the Middle East may experience extended transit times.


FedEx Expands International Priority® Express Service and Updates Philippines Clearance Fees

FedEx has announced an expansion of its International Priority® Express (IPE) service alongside upcoming changes to clearance-related fees for shipments entering the Philippines.

Expansion of International Priority® Express to the Philippines

Effective May 4, 2026, FedEx International Priority® Express (IPE)—the company’s premium time-definite international service—will be expanded to include Clark Field, Pampanga, Philippines (postal code 2023) as a new selectable destination.

This expansion strengthens the existing IPE network, which already covers key markets such as Australia, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand.

The enhancement reflects FedEx’s continued commitment to strengthening its express network and enabling businesses across Asia Pacific to ship with greater speed, reliability, and confidence.

Service benefits of FedEx International Priority® Express

Customers using IPE will benefit from:

  • Fast transit times supported by FedEx’s premium air network

  • 1–2 business day delivery to select global destinations

  • Committed midday delivery to key international markets

The service is designed for time-sensitive shipments such as critical parts, essential documents, and urgent commercial goods, ensuring consistent and reliable delivery performance.

In addition, FedEx has announced changes to clearance services and related fees effective June 1, 2026, for shipments entering the Philippines.

Key updates to storage and handling fees

For both FedEx-cleared shipments and Non-FedEx / Broker Select Option (BSO) shipments:

  • The PHP 420.00 Warehouse Handling Fee will be removed

  • Storage fee structures will be updated in line with Customs Administrative Order 03-2024

  • Storage charges will be based on the higher of a minimum fee or per-kilogram daily rate

  • Fee components include basic storage, service charge, deconsolidation fee, and inbound screening charges

FedEx-cleared shipments

  • Storage fees will begin 72 hours after arrival (previously 48 hours)

  • No storage fees will apply if shipments are released within 72 hours

  • Charges will apply after the 72-hour threshold based on arrival date

Non-FedEx / BSO shipments

  • Storage fees will apply upon arrival (previously after 48 hours)

  • Rates will follow Customs Administrative Order 03-2024 minimums or per-kilogram daily rates

  • Special cargo will incur higher minimum and per-kilogram charges

Additional fee adjustments

  • Broker Document Transfer (breakbulk fee) will be updated to PHP 1,400

  • After-hours clearance charges will be adjusted based on CAO 03-2024

  • Returned shipment fees will also apply in accordance with CAO 03-2024


Reminder: H.T.S. Code and MID Requirements for Shipments to the U.S.

FedEx reminds customers to provide 10-digit H.T.S. codes and Manufacturer's Identification (MID) details when shipping to the United States, as required by U.S. customs for certain commodities such as textiles, garments, and FDA-regulated items.

FedEx International Rate Update

FedEx has announced updates to its pricing for International Priority (IP) and International Connect Plus (ICP) services originating from Australia.

Overview of Changes:

  • The public-facing general rate card for IP and ICP services has been updated.

  • A general rate increase of 5.9% has been applied.

  • Enterprise rates for IP and ICP services have been revised to align with the updated general rates.

All shipments under FedEx IP and ICP services from Australia will be subject to the updated pricing. Customers on enterprise agreements will see adjustments in accordance with the new rate structure.

  • Net rates are provided for convenience only and are not legally binding; the invoiced amount prevails in case of discrepancies.

  • FedEx reserves the right to adjust pricing at any time.

  • Net rates apply only to payor accounts within the applicable country and are based on applicable transportation discounts, excluding surcharges, ancillary charges, duties, taxes, and special handling fees.

  • For services with Earned Discounts, actual net rates may vary depending on shipping patterns and revenue thresholds. Bonus Discounts are also influenced by customer shipping behavior and automation usage.

  • If the rate sheet currency differs from the billing currency, net rates may not align with billing statements due to exchange rate fluctuations.

  • All rates exclude applicable taxes. For fuel surcharges and special fees, refer to the FedEx Surcharge and Other Information page.

  • The Money Back Guarantee does not apply to shipments under this rate sheet.
