The latest improvements, new features, and bug fixes for Shippit Pick & Pack. ## May 2026 ### New: In-app feedback You can now rate Pick & Pack directly from the order-completion screen. A prompt appears periodically after completing orders, or you can submit feedback at any time from **Settings → Account → Give feedback**. Ratings of 4–5 stars submit immediately; lower ratings reveal an optional comments field. ### Bug fixes * Fixed: Tapping an item card in Guided pick mode no longer increments the pick count — tapping brings the row into focus only * Fixed: Switching to 2× zoom on Android no longer causes a black screen * Fixed: Re-entering the pack screen after scanning one item no longer marks all items as packed * Fixed: Rapid taps on the photo button no longer exceed the 10-photo limit * Fixed: When no printer is configured, **View Label** is now the primary action instead of a broken print error * Fixed: Tapping **View Label** now opens the label in the device's native PDF viewer * Fixed: The torch toggle in pick mode now stays on reliably * Fixed: Pressing the Android back button while the scanner overlay is open now closes the overlay, not the app * Fixed: Entering credentials after leaving the login screen idle no longer shows a spurious session timeout error * Fixed: The order list search bar now appears immediately on first load * Fixed: Numeric inputs on the pack screen (dimensions, quantity) no longer dismiss the keyboard immediately after opening * Fixed: Scanning the wrong barcode during packing now shows a red flash and error message, matching pick screen behaviour ## April–May 2026 ### New: Pick journey modes — Guided and Pick list Pick & Pack now offers two ways to pick. **Guided mode** walks through one item at a time with barcode prompts and auto-advance. **Pick list mode** shows the full order at once — pick in any order, check rows off as you go. Configure your pick mode in the setup wizard or under **Settings → Pick → Picking Mode**. Warehouses without barcoded products can now select **Manual** under **Settings → Scanner** to use the app without a scanner. ### New: Scan verification controls and pick tri-control Scan verification for picking and packing is now configured separately with two clear settings — **Pick Verification** and **Pack Verification** — each set to Optional or Required. The single Pick button on the action bar has been replaced by a **[−] count/total [+]** tri-control: tap [+] to pick, tap [−] to un-pick, or long-press either end for bulk quantity entry. ### New: Zebra scanner auto-configuration Pick & Pack now automatically writes the DataWedge profile on Zebra TC-series devices on first launch. No manual DataWedge setup is required. ### Bug fixes * Fixed: Picking the first item in a multi-item order no longer marks all same-SKU lines as picked * Fixed: The allocated carrier card on the pack screen now updates immediately after changing dimensions * Fixed: When no printer is set or the printer is unreachable, the app now shows a clear error and offers to view the label directly * Fixed: Tapping "Track Order" on a split order no longer opens a broken tracking page * Fixed: The torch now activates correctly in low-light scanning mode on iOS and Android * Fixed: Pull-to-refresh now works on empty queue, ready, and exceptions tabs * Fixed: Orders on a second device now show the correct pick/pack status when already actioned on another device
