A complete reference for every setting in Pick & Pack, organised by section. Access Settings by tapping the gear icon from the queue or any main screen. ## Account | Setting | What it does | | --- | --- | | Email | Your Shippit login email — read-only | | Store | Your connected store name. If you have access to multiple stores, a Store Selector lets you toggle individual stores on or off — orders from disabled stores won't appear in the queue | | Give feedback | Opens a feedback sheet where you can leave a star rating and optional comment about Pick & Pack. Sent directly to the Shippit product team | | Sign Out | Signs you out of Pick & Pack on this device | ## Workflow Three mutually exclusive modes — choose the one that matches your role: | Mode | What it does | | --- | --- | | Pick & Pack | One person picks and packs each order. Default mode | | Picker | Pick items and assign to totes. No packing or labelling on this device | | Packer | Scan totes to pack and label orders picked by others | ## Power Ups | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Pull Mode | On / Off | Auto-assigns orders one at a time when multiple pickers are active. Replaces the manual queue with a "Start Next Order" screen. Not available in Packer mode | | 1-Step Pick & Pack | Off / Singles / All | Skips the separate pick stage for eligible orders. Singles = single-unit, single-line orders only. All = skips pick for every order. Available in Pick & Pack mode only | | Sort Priority | Up to 5 dimensions | Configures how the pick queue is sorted. Available dimensions: Singles First, Location, SKU, Carrier, Item Count, Oldest. Drag rows to reorder; tap the direction arrow to toggle ascending/descending | ## Pick _Hidden in Packer mode._ | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Picking Method | Guide View / List View | Guide View (default): one item at a time, strict scan match, auto-advance. List View: all items visible at once, pick in any order | | Verification | On / Off | When on, a scan or photo is required to confirm picked quantities. When off, operators can tap to confirm without scanning | | Auto-Advance After Scan | On / Off | When on, the app moves to the next item automatically after a successful scan | | Require Photo of Picked Items | On / Off | When on, a photo must be taken after all items are picked and before the order is confirmed | ## Pack | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Verification | On / Off | When on, a scan or photo is required to confirm packed quantities | | Require Photo of Packed Items | On / Off | When on, a photo must be taken before a shipping label is generated | | Item to Parcel Mapping | On / Off | When on, items must be assigned to individual parcels during packing. On by default | ## Devices — Printer | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Printer method | AirPrint/Native / Zebra Direct | AirPrint/Native uses your device's built-in print dialog. Zebra Direct connects directly to a Zebra label printer over Wi-Fi using its IP address and port | | Zebra Direct — IP & Port | Manual entry | Enter your Zebra printer's IP address and port number. Use the test print button to confirm the connection | ## Devices — Weight Scales Coming soon — connect a compatible weight scale to automatically populate parcel weight during packing. ## Scanner | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Default Scanning Method | Manual / Camera / RF Scanner | Manual: no scanner — use +/− controls only. Camera: device camera. RF Scanner: Bluetooth or RF scanner. Zebra devices auto-detect and default to RF Scanner, showing an "Auto: Zebra detected" indicator | | Low Light Mode | On / Off | The torch activates automatically when the camera scanner opens in low-light conditions | | Scan Speed | Slow / Normal / Fast | Adjusts the cooldown between accepted scans. Use Slow to prevent double-scans; Fast for high-speed pick lines | | Scan Sounds | On / Off | Plays a beep on successful scans | | Error Sounds | On / Off | Plays a sound when a scan fails or a wrong barcode is read | | Zebra Integrated Scanner | — | Zebra devices only: shows DataWedge profile status (active/disabled/not configured) with Configure and Reconfigure options, plus a live HID test | | Bluetooth RF Scanner | — | Non-Zebra devices: pairs automatically via Bluetooth. Tap to run a connection test | ## Advanced | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Polling Interval | 10s / 15s / 30s / 60s | How often the app checks for new orders. Default is 15 seconds. Increase if you want to reduce background activity | | Theme | Dark / Light / System | Sets the app colour scheme. System follows your device setting. Default is Dark | | Apply Brand Colour | On / Off | Tints the app with your Shippit store's brand colour. Available for single-store users only | ## Privacy | Setting | Options | What it does | | --- | --- | --- | | Help improve Pickpack | On / Off | Shares anonymised usage data with the Shippit team to help improve the app. On by default. Toggle off to opt out completely — no data is sent when off | | See what we collect | — | Opens a screen listing the anonymised events shared when usage data is enabled | ## Session | Setting | What it does | | --- | --- | | Clear Cached Orders | Removes locally cached order data from this device | | Reset All Settings | Restores all settings to their defaults. Does not sign you out |
