You can require operators to take a photo of the packed parcel before a shipping label is generated. This creates a record of how items left the warehouse.

Enabling the setting

  1. Go to Settings → Pack → Require photo of packed items

  2. Toggle the setting on

The setting takes effect immediately for new orders. It defaults to off.

How photo capture works during packing

  1. Verify all items as normal

  2. Tap Generate Label — the photo capture screen opens automatically

  3. Take one or more photos of the packed parcel (up to 10)

  4. Tap Confirm & Continue — the photos are saved and label generation proceeds

Managing photos

  • Tap a thumbnail to view it full-size

  • Tap × on a thumbnail to delete it and retake

  • Confirm & Continue is disabled until at least one photo is saved

  • Maximum 10 photos per pack

If you close the photo screen without taking a photo, you are returned to the pack screen. No label is generated until at least one photo is captured.

The pick and pack photo settings are independent — you can require photos at one stage without requiring them at the other.
