Pick & Pack asks you to scan a tote at two points in the fulfilment flow: assign a tote when you start picking an order, and scan a tote when you start packing an order. Both screens use the same scan zone — a text field, a submit button, and a Scan with Camera button — no matter which scan input your warehouse uses.
When an order needs a tote, assign one before you pick the first item.
On the Assign Tote screen, scan or type the tote barcode.
If your device uses the camera scanner, tap Scan with Camera to open the scanner, or type the barcode into the field instead.
If your device has an RF or Bluetooth scanner connected, scan the tote. The barcode fills the field and the tote assigns automatically — no extra tap needed.
If you enter barcodes manually, type the barcode and tap the submit arrow, or press Enter.
Pick & Pack assigns the tote to the order and opens the pick screen.
If you don't have a tote for this order, tap Print & Use Packslip below the barcode field instead of scanning one.
Tap Print & Use Packslip.
Pick & Pack generates the packslip and sends it to your label printer, then opens the pick screen — the same result as a successful tote scan.
The order reference on the packslip acts as the tote identifier for this order, so you don't need a physical tote for it. Keep the printed packslip with the order as you pick and pack it.
If the packslip can't be generated or doesn't send to the printer, Pick & Pack shows an error and stays on the current screen. Check your printer connection and try again.
When an order is ready to pack, scan its tote to open the order on the pack screen.
On the Scan Tote screen, scan or type the tote barcode.
If your device uses the camera scanner, the scanner opens automatically. Tap Scan with Camera if you need to reopen it, or type the barcode into the field instead.
If your device has an RF or Bluetooth scanner connected, scan the tote. The barcode fills the field and submits automatically — no extra tap needed.
If you enter barcodes manually, type the barcode and tap the submit arrow, or press Enter.
Pick & Pack opens the order on the pack screen.
Note: The status dot next to your name shows when an RF or Bluetooth scanner is ready. If a scan doesn't match a tote or order, an error message appears above the scan zone and the field clears so you can try again.
