How picking works

Updated 2 months ago
When you open Pick & Pack, your pick queue shows all orders ready to action. Tap any order to start picking. The app guides you through each item in the order, then moves the order to the pack queue when all items are done. ## The pick queue * Orders appear automatically as they arrive from Shippit — no manual import needed * Pull down to refresh the queue and remove any cancelled orders * Each order card shows the order number, number of items, customer name, and allocated carrier * Tap an order to begin picking ## Pull Mode If Pull Mode is enabled, you'll land on the Pull Mode screen instead of the queue. Tap **Start Next Order** to be automatically assigned the next available order — no browsing or selecting needed. The app handles the assignment so two pickers never claim the same order at once. See the Using Pull Mode article for setup and details. ## Picking an order Once you tap an order, Pick & Pack walks you through each item. Scan the item's barcode or confirm it manually. When all items are picked, the order progresses automatically. There are two pick modes — **Guided** (one item at a time) and **Pick list** (all items visible at once). See the Guided pick and Pick list articles for details. ## After picking * In **Pick & Pack mode**, you move straight to the pack screen * In **Picker mode**, the order is marked as picked and the tote moves to the pack station ## Sorting the queue You can sort the pick queue by carrier, order age, item count, location, and more. See the Sorting your pick queue article for instructions.
