Picking without barcodes

If your products don't have barcodes — or you prefer to confirm picks manually — Pick & Pack can be used without any scanning hardware. ## How manual input works In manual mode, the camera overlay doesn't open and there is no scanner listening bar. The **[+]** and **[−]** controls on the action bar (and on each row in Pick list mode) are your primary way to confirm items. Tap **[+]** to pick a unit, tap **[−]** to un-pick one, or long-press either end to enter a quantity directly. ## How to enable manual input Select **"I don't scan"** in the setup wizard when you first log in, or go to **Settings → Scanner** and select **Manual**. Manual input works with both Guided pick mode and Pick list mode. It has no effect on the pack screen — you can still use manual input to verify items when packing.
