In Guided pick mode, Pick & Pack shows you one item at a time. The screen shows the item's name, product image, barcode, and quantity. After you pick each item, the app advances automatically to the next one.
Guided pick is best for teams, high-SKU operations, or any environment where step-by-step accuracy is important.
## How to pick in Guided mode
1. Tap an order in the queue to begin
2. The first item is shown — name, location hint, image, and barcode
3. Scan the item's barcode, or tap **[+]** on the action bar to confirm it manually
4. The app advances to the next item automatically
5. Repeat until all items are picked
6. The order moves to the pack queue (or is marked complete in Picker mode)
## If you scan the wrong barcode
An error tone plays and a message appears on screen. The app stays on the current item until the correct barcode is scanned. This ensures picks stay accurate.
## Correcting a pick
Tap **[−]** on the action bar to reduce the count for the current item. See the Correcting a mis-pick article for more detail.
## Switching to Guided mode
Go to **Settings → Pick → Picking Mode** and select **Guide View**.
