A nationwide Telstra mobile network outage is currently affecting some PDA devices, impacting the transmission of real-time delivery information.

As a result, customers may experience delays in live tracking updates, Proof of Delivery (POD) notifications, and real-time delivery status updates. Delivery operations continue as normal, and efforts are underway to minimise any service disruption.

Temporary Continuity Surcharge (TCS)

Allied Express will introduce a 4% Temporary Continuity Surcharge (TCS), effective Monday, 6 April 2026, due to the recent and significant rise in fuel prices.

Global fuel market pressures, including ongoing instability in the Middle East, have driven up diesel prices, raising transport and logistics costs across the industry. Allied Express has absorbed part of these costs, but sustained increases now require partial recovery.

Key information:

• The surcharge applies to transport charges only (linehaul and delivery).

• It appears as a separate line item on invoices for transparency.

• The existing fuel surcharge structure remains unchanged.

The TCS is temporary and will be reviewed regularly based on fuel price movements, including Terminal Gate pricing benchmarks. Allied Express will adjust or remove the surcharge as market conditions allow.

This measure ensures Allied Express can continue providing reliable and high-quality services during this period of market volatility.
