Sorting your pick queue

Pick & Pack lets you sort your queue using up to five criteria, applied in priority order. The queue re-sorts automatically on every refresh — no manual trigger needed. ## Available sort criteria | Criterion | Description | Use case | | --- | --- | --- | | Singles First | Prioritise single-item orders | Clear simple orders quickly | | Location | Sort by warehouse location | Optimise the pick path | | SKU | Group by product SKU | Pick the same product across orders | | Carrier | Group by carrier | Batch orders for the same carrier | | Item Count | Sort by number of items | Fewest first or most first | | Oldest | Sort by order age | Process longest-waiting orders first | ## How to configure sort priority 1. Go to **Settings → Pick → Sort Priority** 2. Tap **Add sort dimension** and choose your first criterion 3. Select a direction where applicable (e.g. oldest first) 4. Add up to five dimensions — lower-ranked ones only apply when orders are tied on higher-ranked ones 5. Drag rows to reorder the priority 6. Tap **Save** — the queue updates immediately Your sort preference is saved to your account and applies across all devices. ## Example: batch by carrier Set Priority 1 to _Carrier_ and Priority 2 to _Oldest_. This groups all orders for the same carrier together, then processes the longest-waiting first within each carrier group. If no sort priority is configured, the queue defaults to oldest first.
