What has changed?
Our partnered carrier CouriersPlease has advised they will be increasing the price of their services and introducing new surcharges effective from 1 August 2023.
Base Price Increase
Effective 1 August 2023, an increase in freight charges for deliveries across all pricing zones pertains to the following weight breaks:
Approximately 5.0% increase for parcels up to and including 5kg charged weight
Approximately 7.9% increase for parcels over 5kg charged weight
New Surcharges
Effective 1 August 2023, Couriers Please will also be introducing the following surcharges:
Length Surcharge of $10 ex GST for every item between 1.2m and 1.8m long in any one dimension
Oversize Fee will increase to $50 ex GST per consignment
Redirection Fee with minimum of $10 ex GST per consignment
