Once you have logged in (and if required, selected the store you wish to associate), we'll return you back to the Setup of your SHOPLINE connection, automatically linking the existing Shippit Store account with your SHOPLINE store.

Step 4 - Shipping Methods

We are now on the setup final step — On this page, we display a few options to configure how you would like your orders to be routed to our carriers in the Shippit platform.

We call this feature "Shipping Method Mapping" — it allows you to "map" your SHOPLINE shipping methods made available to customers at the Checkout, with a Shippit Service Level or Courier Type.

  • To keep things simple — during setup we'll look over your last 100 orders and present the unique shipping methods available to customers across these order.

  • We'll also provide some smart-suggestions — such as mapping any shipping methods with the name "Express" to our "Express" Service Level.

Review the Shipping Method Mapping options suggested and adjust the settings to your requirements.

Once setup, you can select either the Save & Sync Open Orders action or the Save & Complete Setup action

Selecting the Save & Sync Open Orders action will sync any open (paid, but not yet fulfilled) SHOPLINE shop orders found over the last 7 days to your Shippit Store.

Don't see any shipping options? You can set this up later.

During setup, we'll look over your historical order to determine the Shipping Methods typically available to across your orders.

If you have a new store, you may not have this history yet, as such you may not yet see any available shipping mapping options.

In this case, any new orders raised without an existing shipping emthod mapping will be routed by default to our "Standard" couriers in Shippit.

Integration Settings

The SHOPLINE integration offers three settings areas available to merchants

  • Orders

  • Fulfillments

  • Location

Orders Settings

The "Orders" tab allows you to configure how you would like to synchronise your orders from SHOPLINE to Shippit, with the following configuration options available

  1. Automatically Sync New Orders

  2. Shipping Method Mapping

Automatically Sync New Orders

  • If set to "Yes", New Orders will be automatically synced with Shippit based on the "Order Paid" event in the SHOPLINE Platform.

  • If set to "No", the "Order Paid" webhook event from the SHOPLINE Platform will be ignored and the order won't be synced with Shippit automatically.

Default Value: Yes

Note: In addition to orders auto-sync, the integration also offers the capability to manually import orders if users have a use-case where the orders auto-sync workflow is not preferred.

Mapping Shipping Methods

Shipping Method Mapping allows merchants to map a SHOPLINE Shipping Method with a Shippit Service Level or Courier Service.

By default, if a Shipping Method is not mapped, the order will be submitted to Shippit as a "Standard" service level order.

To add a Shipping method mapping, navigate to the "Orders" tab of the Shippit SHOPLINE Integration Settings

  1. Select the "Add Mapping" action button

  2. In the first column, enter the name of the SHOPLINE Shipping Method

    • You can also use a wildcard, such as *Express* to match variations of a Shipping method name

  3. In the second column, select the Shippit Service Level or Courier Service you wish to associate with an order that matches the Shipping Method set in Step 2

  4. Save the settings by selecting the "Update" action button.
