You can initiate returns on behalf of your customers directly from your Shippit account. This feature is available even if you don't use the Shippit returns portal.

Create a merchant-initiated return
You can create a merchant-initiated return from any order that has been marked as completed in the Track page.
Creating a merchant-initiated return
Log in to your Shippit account, and navigate to the Track page.
Locate the completed order that you want to have returned. In the Controls menu for the order, select Create Return.
In the Create Return screen, the customer and return details are pre-filled, based on the information from the order. Edit any fields as required. Make sure that the email address is correct, as this is where the return label is sent.
Optional: Add an order reference for tracking the return through the system.
When you have completed the details, click Create Return to see a summary of the return, including the carrier cost information for return shipping.
When you are happy with the return, click Book return to create the return and book the carrier.
The order shows in the Track page with a status of Return requested. The label is emailed to the email address you provided, along with instructions for packaging and returning their order.
Your customer needs to click Request pickup in the email they are sent to arrange a carrier to pick up their order.
