Retrieve a proof of delivery

Get a secure photo of your delivery, directly from your tracking notification

Updated yesterday

Are you wondering where your parcel is? Many of our shipping partners now provide photo proof of delivery. When your driver delivers your package, they capture an image and we send it to you with your delivery notification. You get a clear visual confirmation of your delivery, so you can see exactly where your parcel was left.

This article discusses which carriers support proof of delivery, tells you how to retrieve the photos, and provides some hints and tips for troubleshooting your proof of delivery photos.

Carriers that support proof of delivery

Many of our shipping partners offer photo proof of delivery. Here are the most common carriers that provide this service:

  • Allied Couriers

  • Aramex

  • TNT

  • TGE

  • Uber

💡NOTE: Not all services or delivery types from these carriers include proof of delivery photos. It is dependent on the individual carrier's operational procedures and the specific service level used for your delivery.

Retrieve your proof of delivery photo

When a photo proof of delivery is available, your tracking notification gives you a preview of the image, and you can go to the tracking page to see and download all available images.

On the tracking page, enter the email address you used for your delivery to get access to your proof of delivery photos. This step is to protect your privacy, and ensure that only you can see the photos.

When you have verified your email address, you can view and download the images directly from the tracking page.

💡NOTE: If you can't find your tracking link, check your spam or junk folder for emails from Shippit. Alternatively, contact the sender of your parcel for your tracking details.

Troubleshooting

Sometimes, you might have questions or issues related to your proof of delivery photo. Here are some common scenarios and what you can do:

There's no photos in my notification

Proof of delivery photos are not available for every delivery. The main reason why you might not get a proof of delivery is because the carrier doesn't support sending photos. If your goods have been sent with a carrier that doesn't support proof of delivery photos, or if the merchant you purchased from has used a service that does not include proof of delivery photos, then no photos are sent in the tracking notifications.

The photo is unclear

Drivers try to get good photos, but sometimes lighting or angles can make it difficult for them to get a clear picture. If you have concerns about the delivery based on an unclear photo, go to the tracking page and click Get delivery help to get in touch with Shippit support. Alternatively, you can contact the merchant who you purchased from.

The photo isn't of my house, or there is no parcel in the image

If the photo appears to show a different address, or you can't see your parcel in the image, go to the tracking page and click Get delivery help, so that we can investigate with the carrier. Alternatively, you can contact the merchant who you purchased from.

I still can't find my parcel

If the proof of delivery photo shows your house, but you can't find the parcel, check with others at your address, your neighbours, or others who might be in the area. Sometimes people take in parcels after the image is taken, and it could be waiting for you with a neighbour.
