Shippit works seamlessly with Retail Express by Maropost to synchronise and fulfil orders, using a licensed integration developed by Maropost. This article explains how to get started with configuring Retail Express and Shippit for your unique workflow, and get the most out of Retail Express and Shippit.
The Retail Express by Maropost integration supports:
Send domestic and international orders from Retail Express to Shippit
Access to Shippit's discounted shipping rates
Bringing your own carrier accounts, including Australia Post, StarTrack and DHL Express
Set up your Retail Express integration
To connect your Retail Express account with Shippit, you need to purchase a licence from Retail Express. You can access documentation from the Maropost knowledge base.
Shippit store API keys
You need to provide your Shippit store API keys to complete your integration with Retail Express.
You have a Shippit API key for each of your stores. These work as a unique identifier for each store, allowing you to authenticate each call against the Shippit APIs. This allows you to create orders, and perform labelling and manifesting for each individual store.
💡NOTE: If you have not already created a store in your Shippit account, get in touch with your Shippit account manager, or contact Shippit support.
Copying your API key
Open the drop down menu in the top right of your screen, and click Settings to open your profile.
Navigate to the Integrations section.
Your API key for the current store is shown in the API Secrets section.
Each store has its own unique API key. Use the drop down box at the top of the page to change store and see its unique API key.
For more information about retrieving your store API keys, see the find your API key article.
