Ultra Commerce (Comestri) integration

Integrate Shippit with the Comestri OMS platform. Set up, configure, and sync orders between Ultra Commerce and Shippit.

Updated today

Shippit works seamlessly with Ultra Commerce (Comestri) to synchronise and fulfil orders, using a licensed integration developed by Ultra Commerce. This article explains how to get started, and get the most out of Ultra Commerce and Shippit.

The Ultra Commerce logo

💡NOTE: Ultra Commerce is the same product previously known as Comestri.

The Ultra Commerce integration supports:

  • Send domestic and international orders from Ultra Commerce to Shippit

  • Access to Shippit's discounted shipping rates

  • Bringing your own carrier accounts, including Australia Post, StarTrack and DHL Express

Set up your Ultra Commerce integration

To connect your Ultra Commerce account with Shippit, contact your Ultra Commerce account manager. They set up and manage the integration for you. You can access documentation from the Ultra Commerce documentation.

Your Ultra Commerce account manager requires some information from you to complete your integration with Shippit, this can include:

Shippit environment API URLs

The Shippit environment API URLs are:

  • Staging environment: https://app.staging.shippit.com/api/3/

  • Production environment: https://app.shippit.com/api/3/

These environment URLs are also documented in the Shippit developer centre.

Shippit store API keys

You have a Shippit API key for each of your stores. These work as a unique identifier for each store, allowing you to authenticate each call against the Shippit APIs. This allows you to create orders, and perform labelling and manifesting for each individual store.

💡NOTE: If you have not already created a store in your Shippit account, get in touch with your Shippit account manager, or contact Shippit support.

Copying your API key

  1. Open the drop down menu in the top right of your screen, and click Settings to open your profile.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations section.

  3. Your API key for the current store is shown in the API Secrets section.

  4. Each store has its own unique API key. Use the drop down box at the top of the page to change store and see its unique API key.

Carrier allocation codes

For each carrier that you want to access through your Shippit account, look up the carrier reference string for the appropriate carrier and service level. This information is available in the Shippit developer guide.
