🚚 Shippit tracks carrier networks and delivery performance for millions of shipments each week. We are seeing delays across Queensland, South Australia, and Northern Territory.

What we’re seeing

🛒Retailers perspective

Our retailers are experiencing fast collections this peak season due to the proactive plans we set in place with our shipping partners months ago.

  • 91% of collections are being made on time

  • 99% within 1 business day.

  • 90.95% average pickup percentage

  • 82.67% Average Delivery on time

Our big volume retailers are closely supported by our Shipping Operations team providing quick-thinking collection solutions where needed to ensure freight moves into the network faster.

🚚 Network performance

Domestic shipping services are travelling as forecasted during this peak period. Shipping partners have all advised of delays across the board which our data supports.

⚠️Current performance of the network is an additional +3 days for domestic standard deliveries and +1 day for express.

The network performance metrics that we are tracking are as below;

  • 95% of orders are delivered within 3 days

  • 97% of orders are delivered within 5 days

  • 83% of deliveries are being delivered 'on time'

  • Packages are being delivered on average within 4 days

🌎International performance

We are seeing some delays into certain countries however no more than 4 days on average. A summary of average transit times to key lanes are below:

🚨Carrier Service Announcements

  • We are seeing delays across Queensland, South Australia, and Northern Territory.

  • Canada Post has advised all countries to temporarily stop sending items to Canada, because of ongoing strike action. Quoting will be temporarily disabled for Australia Post from 06/12/2024 until normal services are restored. For more information, see the Australia Post website.
