4 March 2025. South East Queensland & Northern New South Wales network update

South East Queensland & Northern New South Wales are on high alert this week with Cyclone Alfred expected to hit the east coast later this week. This will bring with it flooding and road closures as a result therefore network & delivery delays are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

Safety is at the forefront however our partnered carriers continue to closely monitor the situation and have taken the necessary precautions to secure freight ahead of the forecasted weather conditions. Further resources for the latest information can be found in the Bureau of Meteorology.

For any priority shipments, we suggest using ‘express’ and local ‘on-demand’ services through Shippit which may result in quicker delivery for your consumers.

Aramex Brisbane Depot Closure

Aramex has advised their Brisbane depot will be closed Thursday 6th Mar and possibly Friday 7th of March due to the predicted cyclone.

This means no freight will travel in or out causing delays in processing.

Delivery delays are to be expected the following week with road closures expected.
