Several linehaul services are currently experiencing delays due to operational and external factors.
The Brisbane to Sydney B-double service was impacted after a trailer was left at Redbank due to a trailer fault and is scheduled for delivery on Monday, 12/01/26.
The Perth to Sydney single trailer service was delayed due to a mechanical issue and is also scheduled for delivery on Monday, 12/01/26.
The Melbourne to Sydney B-double service has been delayed due to a trailer issue, with the outstanding freight scheduled for delivery on Tuesday, 12/01/27.
Sydney to Melbourne and Melbourne to Sydney tour services have been delayed due to bushfires in the Euroa area, with outstanding deliveries scheduled for Tuesday, 12/01/27.
The Sydney to Perth tour services have been delayed due to a non-FedEx incident involving a train derailment. The estimated time of arrival remains unknown pending completion of track repairs.

Flooding – North Queensland
The Flinders Highway between Richmond and Julia Creek is closed due to flooding, affecting operations in Julia Creek, Cloncurry, and Mount Isa.
Train Derailment – Spencer Junction, SA
Pacific National has confirmed a train derailment on Tuesday, 6/1/26, approximately 35 kilometres east of Spencer Junction near Port Augusta, SA. While no FedEx units were on the affected train, delays are expected due to the resulting outage.

FedEx reminds customers to provide 10-digit H.T.S. codes and Manufacturer’s Identification (MID) details when shipping to the United States, as required by U.S. customs for certain commodities such as textiles, garments, and FDA-regulated items.
