Freight movements experienced delays across multiple lanes due to operational disruptions.
Perth to Adelaide shipments involving two trailers were delayed due to a mechanical breakdown. Brisbane to Cairns freight was halted after a B-Double was impacted by flooding on the Bruce Highway near Ingham. Sydney to the Gold Coast freight was delayed due to driver illness; a replacement driver has since been sourced. Sydney to Goulburn and Canberra shipments were delayed due to a supplier issue.
All affected consignments are currently outstanding and scheduled for delivery on Friday, 02.01.26.
International Service
Sydney to Adelaide – Aircraft grounded in Adelaide due to an engineering issue. Recovery is being managed via linehaul ex Adelaide.

FedEx reminds customers to provide 10-digit H.T.S. codes and Manufacturer’s Identification (MID) details when shipping to the United States, as required by U.S. customs for certain commodities such as textiles, garments, and FDA-regulated items.
