Here's the current disruption to the Aramex NZ network as of the 20th of November 2025.

A breakdown on the Bluebridge ferry is affecting freight services across the South Island and may result in minor delays. The team appreciates customers’ patience and understanding while they work to restore normal service as quickly as possible.

Please note that significant roadworks are currently taking place near the entrance to the Christchurch depot.

The depot remains open and fully operational; however, customers are advised to access the site via Parkhouse Road and then turn onto Jipcho Road for easier entry.

Effective August 29, 2025, the U.S. Government has removed the $800 USD duty-free exemption for imports. This means all shipments to the USA will now incur duties and taxes, with most goods from New Zealand subject to a 15% tariff.

To comply, Aramex will hold all U.S.-bound shipments in Auckland until the applicable tariff is confirmed and approved. Customers can choose between DDP (sender pays upfront) or DDU/DAP (recipient pays on delivery, subject to a $12 USD ICOD fee).

Please ensure invoices include accurate values, clear product descriptions, and consignee identification to avoid delays. Aramex remains committed to supporting customers through these changes.
