Ready to Ship page

Print labels and manifests, book orders for delivery, and mark orders as picked up by the carrier from the Ready to Ship page

Updated over a week ago

The Ready to Ship page is where you manage the orders that you have packed and are ready to ship to customers. From here, you can see orders that are packed, print labels and manifests, book orders for delivery, and mark orders as picked up by the carrier.

When you log in to your Shippit account, click Ready to Ship in the top menu to go to the Ready to Ship page. By default, this page shows all the orders in your account that have been picked and packed, and are ready for labelling and being booked for pickup by a carrier.

Use the Ready to Ship page

The Ready to Ship page is organised into two sections: deliveries awaiting booking, and manifest history. Both sections are organised by date and time, with more recent orders at the top.

Deliveries awaiting booking

The deliveries awaiting booking section is for orders that have been packed, and need to have labels printed, or to be booked for pickup by the carrier.

For each order in the list, you can see the order date, Shippit reference number, and recipient information. You can also see carrier information, package weight, and order cost. Click Download label to download a PDF version of the label, or click Print to send the label directly to your printer. You can also cancel the label if you need to, from the caret menu.

Click the order reference number to open the tracking page for the order in a new browser tab. Click the recipient name to open a dialog box with the name, phone number, and address of the recipient.

Manifest history

The manifest history section is for orders that have already been manifested by the carrier, and are waiting to be picked up.

For each order in the list, you can see the order date, the carrier that has been booked, and the manifest ID number. You can also see information about the origin and number of packages, as well as an estimated pickup time, if it is available. Click Download manifest button to download a PDF version of the manifest for that carrier, or use the drop-down menu to download all labels in the manifest, or mark the orders as picked up by the carrier.

Filter the deliveries awaiting booking list

You can use the controls on this page to find orders that are waiting for pickup, and sort the list in a way that works best for your workflow.

Use the Store field to show orders that have come from a specific store or stores.

Use the Carrier field to show orders that are assigned to a specific carrier or carriers.

Use the Order Date field to show orders that were created during a specific date range.

Use the Labels field to show orders that are either labelled or unlabelled.

Click Reset Filter to reset your search terms and show all orders.

You can sort the orders in the list by clicking the column headers. Reverse the sort order by clicking it again.

Optionally, if you have a handheld scanner, you can scan a barcode to filter the orders list.

Bulk actions

You can perform bulk actions, such as printing labels or booking a pickup for a number of orders at the same time, by selecting the checkbox to the left of the order. Select everything in a table by selecting the All checkbox at the top of the page. When you have multiple orders selected, an information bar at the top of the list shows how many orders you have selected. Select the bulk action you want to do from this bar, and click Confirm to perform the action.
