Shippit Insights advanced reporting is a series of data rich dashboards that can help you understand how your shipping and delivery services are performing. Use them to determine whether you have chosen the right carrier mix, whether or not you're living up to the promises you make your customers, and work out who is buying from you and where.

Freight dispersion summary
You can use the freight dispersion summary report to track your total orders over time. The graphs in this report shows the total number of orders booked over time, and the time of day that they are created. You can use this data to determine whether you are booking orders on a regular cadence, and when your busy times are, which can help you determine staffing and warehouse requirements.
This report includes two graphs showing the total orders booked over time, and the time of day they are created.
Drill down in the freight dispersion summary report to see more details. You can also right-click on graph elements and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Total orders booked over time
This graph shows the total orders booked over time, broken down into the dates the orders were booked. Use this graph to determine when your busy periods are.
Click one of the points to drill down into further information for the chosen period. For example, to see more information about the orders that were quoted on March 24th, click the Mar 24 point on the graph to update all the graphs in this section to show only orders quoted on that date. You can now determine which orders were booked that day, and use this information to adjust your warehouse operations. You can also right-click on a graph element and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Total orders by created time of day
This graph shows the orders created at any given time of the day. Use this graph to determine how your days typically run, and if you can optimise warehouse operations to make slow or busy times more productive.
Click one of the bars to drill down into further information for the chosen hour. For example, to see more information about the first orders booked in the day, click the 6 bar on the graph to update all the graphs in this section to show only orders booked during the period from 6am to 6:59am. You can now determine which orders are booked at that time, and use this information to adjust your warehouse operations. You can also right-click on a graph element and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Shipping lane
You can use the shipping lane report to track where your orders are being picked up from and delivered to. The table in this report shows the total number of orders booked by pickup and delivery state. You can use this data to determine whether you have lanes that are busier than others, or that could require attention.
This report includes one table showing the total orders booked over time, and the state they are picked up from and delivered to.
💡NOTE: This dashboard only shows state information for orders shipped within Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Canada. It does not include state information for other countries.

Total orders booked by pickup and delivery state
This table shows the total orders booked, broken down by the state the order was picked up from and delivered to. Use this table to determine if you have delivery lanes that are underperforming.
Click one of the rows to highlight a particular pickup state in the table. You can also right-click on a graph element and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Dispatch store
You can use the dispatch store report to track where your orders are being picked up from and how far they are travelling. The tables in this report show the number of orders booked by pickup state, and the distance of each delivery. You can use this data to determine whether you have inefficient lanes.

Total orders booked by store
This table shows the total orders booked, broken down by the store the order was picked up from. Use this table to determine if you have stores that are underperforming.

Delivery destination
You can use the delivery destination report to track where your orders are being delivered to. The tables in this report show the number of orders booked by delivery state, and the store that booked the order. You can use this data to determine where your orders are going.
This report includes two graphs and a table that show the orders booked over time, the state they are delivered to, and the store that booked them.

Chargeable weight
You can use the chargeable weight report to track the weight of your orders, and which stores are sending heavier goods. The tables in this report show the number of orders booked by chargeable weight, and the store that booked various weights. You can use this data to determine which weight classes are dominating your freight.
💡 NOTE: The charged weight, or the weight that the carrier charges you for, is the greater of the dead weight and the cubic weight.

This graph shows the total orders booked in each weight tier. Use this graph to determine how heavy your orders are.

For example, to see more information about orders between 5 and 10kg, click the 5-10 kg bar on the graph to update all the graphs in this section to show only orders that were booked within the 5-10kg chargeable weight tier. You can now determine which orders are booked in this tier, and use this information to adjust your product mix. This table shows the total orders booked, broken down by the chargeable weight tier it was booked under, and the store the order was picked up from. Use this table to determine which stores are selling bulkier goods.

Cubic volume
You can use the cubic volume report to track the size of your orders, and which stores are sending bulkier goods. The tables in this report show the number of orders booked by cubic volume, which is the volume calculated from the linear measurements of the package, and the store that booked at the various volume tiers. You can use this data to determine which volume tiers are dominating your freight.
💡NOTE: This report uses the cubic volume, which is the volume calculated from the linear measurements of the package, shown in cubic metres (m³).
