Shippit Insights advanced reporting is a series of data rich dashboards that can help you understand how your shipping and delivery services are performing. Use them to determine whether you have chosen the right carrier mix, whether or not you're living up to the promises you make your customers, and work out who is buying from you and where.

Carrier allocation summary
You can use the carrier allocation summary report to track the service levels you book over time. The graphs in this report shows the total number of orders booked at different service levels over time. You can use this data to determine whether you have peak times for using different service levels, or disproportionately use some service levels over others, which can help you determine the best carrier mix.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: In this report, 'service level' is the service level used by the order regardless of the carrier chosen, such as express, on demand, or click & collect.
'Carrier service' is the combination of carrier and service level used by the order, such as Australia Post eParcel Standard, or Couriers Please Express.
This report includes six graphs showing the total orders booked at the various service levels, and the carrier service used.
Drill down in the carrier allocation summary report to see more details. You can also right-click on graph elements and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Orders booked by service level over time
This graph shows the total orders booked over time, broken down into the service level of the order. Use this graph to determine when your peak periods for different service levels are.
Click one of the points to drill down into further information for the chosen period. For example, to see more information about the standard service level orders that were booked on April 1st, click the Apr 1 point on the light green line to update all the graphs in this section to show only standard orders booked on that date. You can now determine which orders were booked with a standard service level that day, and use this information to adjust your carrier mix, or warehouse operations. You can also right-click on a graph element and select Show all to see and download the individual orders that match your search criteria.
Orders booked by carrier service over time
This graph shows the total orders booked over time, broken down into the carrier service of the order. Use this graph to determine when your peak periods for different carrier services are.

Total orders booked by service level
This graph shows the total orders created for each service level for the selected time period. Use this graph to determine what service level you use the most, and if you can optimise your carrier mix.
Click one of the bars to drill down into further information for the chosen service level. For example, to see more information about orders booked as express, click the Express bar on the graph to update all the graphs in this section to show only orders booked with that service level. You can now determine which orders are booked as express, and use this information to adjust your carrier mix. Percentage of orders booked by service level
This graph shows the percentage breakdown of your orders into service levels across the selected time period. Use this graph to determine what percentage of total orders you are booking at different service levels.

The graphs in this report shows the number of orders booked at different chargeable weight tiers, by service level and carrier service. You can use this data to determine which weight classes are dominating your freight, which can help you determine the best carrier mix.

You can use the cubic volume report to track the size of your orders, and which carrier services are being used. The tables in this report show the number of orders booked by cubic volume, which is the volume calculated from the linear measurements of the package, and the carrier service used to deliver various volume tiers. You can use this data to determine which volume tiers are dominating each service level.
