This is a one time exercise necessary for Shippit to expedite the information transfer process, so that we can get you to value as soon as possible.

Account Information Process

During your scoping call with Shippit, you should have received our account information template. This template is designed to expedite the next steps by allowing Shippit to assess the time and effort required for implementation. This assessment will inform our statement of work.

After completing the following three steps, if your business decides to proceed with Shippit, we will set up and configure your account upon deal closure, ensuring immediate value realisation.

Account information template has the information Shippit needs to expedite next steps.

Complete all tabs that are coloured red that is required of the “customer”.

A freight Analysis will help determine the ideal carrier mix, and estimate cost savings by leveraging Shippits partnered carrier rates.

Provide your last three months of freight data

Only applicable for business who ship Bulky freight and Dangerous goods.

Download and fill out the relevant forms, and provide images of your staged freight.

What is required in each tab:

Company + Account Details

Provide the following information for Shippit to determine account structure, and resources required.


Information Needed:

Company / Store: A store represents either a single dispatch location and/or a brand
Parent Company (billing): This account represents a parent company that manages the business administration of all stores and/or brands
Contact Name: Name of account owner
Contact Email: Account owners email
Preferred Password: Choose your login password (can always be changed later)
Contact Phone: Account owners phone number
Full Address: Full address - [unit/apartment number] / [street number] [street address], [postcode], [state], [country]
Billing email: The address account billing is sent to
ABN: Australian Business Number for invoicing
Email address billing is sent to: This email address will receive billing from Shippit
Payment option: The payment type - credit card or direct debit
Billing Frequency: How frequent you would like to each bill to be invoiced
Address Type: Store location type - residential, retail store, warehouse, office, other
Pick-up special requirements: This will help your drivers navigate to the pick-up location eg. Around the corner you will find our roller door, if it is closed press the red bell on right, and someone will come and let you in.
Working days: The days your dispatch location is open for business
Preferred collection window: What is your stores preferred time window to have goods picked-up.
Staging environment: This environment is utilised for testing functionality, and is limited to only one store which you should indicate as TRUE

Carrier Details

To configure your own carriers for use with Shippit, specific information is required since the necessary credentials vary from one carrier to another. Please complete all the cells in the template that are NOT shaded grey.


It's important to note: If a rate card is needed for your carrier, you must contact your account manager to obtain your rate card. After receiving it, upload the rate card in the 'CARRIER RATE CARD UPLOAD' tab."


Information needed:

BYO courier account: Bring your own (BYO) are the carriers you have accounts and negotiated rates with, and wish to integrate into Shippit.
Account Number: The account number provided to you by your courier service
API Key: Insert your carrier accounts API key. You can usually obtain this from your account manager, or by calling the courier company directly.
Secret Key: Insert your secret password token. You can usually obtain this from your account manager, or by calling the courier company directly.
Label Prefix/ID: code that is listed in your connote
Product Codes/Service Codes: Product and Services Code and is a commodity code built to designate products and services
FTP Username & Password (if any): An FTP file is where shippit stores consignment information for couriers to process.
Rate card Required: If rate card is = YES please request this from your courier and upload in tab "CARRIER RATE CARD UPLOAD"
Account Manager Details: If you have an account manager please provide their details

Freight analysis

To take advantage of Shippit's partner carriers and rates, it's essential to submit three months of shipping data. This allows our Shipping Commercial Team to conduct a thorough freight analysis, enabling us to tailor an ideal carrier mix for your needs and project potential cost savings.

You can retrieve this information from your existing shipping system/portal or directly through your carrier account managers.

Please note: it's crucial to maintain the provided template's format as is. Also, ensure that you fill in all sections marked with "CAN'T BE BLANK" to avoid any omissions.

If you you ship dangerous goods and/or Bulky Freight, Shippit will need for you to download and complete the following documents.

Should have Information (highlighted in green)

User Details

This is where you can assign different levels of access to your store(s).

Information needed:

User activation: Activating users access to the shippit platform

User name: First and last name

Contact number: Contact number for internal purposes (not shippit).

Email: Work email - this email will be used as the login email

Store access: The stores you would like to give user access. this will determine what stores the user can login to.

Level of access: What level of access would you like to asign the user. This will determine what they see in-app.

Package Presets

Set up you package allocation automation. This activity ensures the mundane tasks of package allocation is automated, the correct quotes are received, and ensures the correct information is being sent the the driver.

Branding and Advertisement

Set up you branding and advertisement on customer facing objects. Our customised branding puts your brand front and centre of your tracking notifications, so you can keep your business front of mind.



Next Steps: On Completion

Once you have completed all three steps, please send the files to your respective Shippit Representative, who will then distribute the information to the relevant stakeholders.
