Find out what information you need to give us, so we can create an accurate statement of work, and get your Shippit account up and running.

Updated yesterday

Welcome to the Shippit family! We are really pleased that you have made the strategic decision to partner with Shippit, and to fulfil your delivery promises. Our mission is to bring people and goods together in the leanest way possible, and we’re excited to have you on board.

When you spoke to your Shippit account manager, they would have discussed a document that they needed you to complete. If you haven't got the document yet, you can download the form as a Google sheet. This article discusses how to complete the information in each tab of the document. When you have finished, send your completed document to the Shippit configuration team and make sure you copy in your Shippit account manager.

Before you start

If you haven't already got a copy of the document, download it as a Google sheet. Make sure you rename the file as [Your company name] Account Information. For example, if your company name is Acme2000, you would call the file Acme2000 Account Information.

When you open the document, you'll notice that most of the tabs are green, but you might also have some other tabs that are marked in yellow. Green tabs must be completed, we can't create your account without this information. Yellow tabs are optional, so we don't need this information to create your account, but we do need this information before we can set your account to be live. The more information you can complete, the faster we can set everything up for you.

A screenshot showing the tabs at the bottom of the Account information spreadsheet. Some are marked in green, and others in yellow. The highlighted tab is purple, and labelled 'Start Here - Introduction'

💡Note: Your spreadsheet might not have yellow Should have tabs, depending on your account type. If you don't have any, just complete the green tabs.

To complete the information in the spreadsheet, you might need to talk to other people within your organisation. The main people you need to speak to are:

  • Carrier account manager: To provide all carrier credentials and rate cards. Note that credentials are likely to differ between dispatch locations.

  • Operations, fulfilment, or logistics: To provide general warehouse information, and user access and permission types.

  • Finance, or accounts: To provide a billing email and ABN number for billing.

  • Digital, eCommerce, or customer experience: To provide branding and advertising artefacts.

Completing the Account Information spreadsheet

To complete the spreadsheet, work through each of the tabs. The purple Start here - Introduction tab gives you a checklist of items.

💡Note: Your spreadsheet might not require all of these details, depending on your account type. If you don't have all the fields, just complete what is there.

  1. Work through the green Must have tabs:

  2. Optional: Work through the yellow Should have tabs:

  3. Add your ideal implementation window and go live date.

  4. Optional: Add whether or not you require a staging environment, for end-to-end user acceptance testing.

  5. Optional: Provide your key contacts' information. This helps us make sure we're talking to the right stakeholders as we set up your account.
