Get it Fast is an Australian logistics company specialising in same-day and next-day last-mile delivery services for retailers. They aim to provide fast and reliable delivery using a network of non-gig economy drivers.

Get It Fast is suitable for:

  • High volume shippers and/or multiple store locations

  • Goods under 15kg and 1.05m in length

  • Satchels and cartons

  • Small retail products and consumer goods

  • Health and beauty products

  • Clothing and apparel

  • Small homewares

Get It Fast is not suitable for:

  • Low volume shippers

  • Bulky or palletised freight

  • Dangerous goods

  • Alcohol

  • Perishables

  • Valuables

Prohibited goods

  • Alcohol

  • Aerosols

  • Automotive parts containing oil or fuel (e.g., used engines, gearboxes)

  • Magnets and magnetic materials

  • Perishable food items

  • Hazardous and dangerous goods such as

    • Explosives

    • Flammable liquids

    • Gases

    • Poisons

    • Corrosives

    • Lithium batteries

  • Valuable and high-risk items

    • Cash and bullion (precious metals)

    • Jewellery, watches, and precious stones

    • Negotiable instruments, bank cards, and birth certificates

    • Irreplaceable items like fine art, antiques, and high-value collectibles

  • Illegal and restricted items such as

    • Illegal drugs and narcotics

    • Firearms, their parts, and ammunition

    • Counterfeit goods and pirated materials

    • Tobacco products and alcohol (in most cases)

  • Live and biological items such as

    • Live animals and insects

    • Animal products

    • Plants and seeds

    • Human remains or ashes

Dangerous goods

Get It Fast does does not accept dangerous goods of any kind.


Packaging guidelines

Items should be wrapped in a way that will ensure safety for the delivery person and the customer. It is your responsibility to package items correctly. Packaging should comply with Australian consumer and transport laws.

Surcharges

Charges that can be identified at the time of booking are included in the API quote at the time of booking however additional surcharges may apply for undeclared goods or special goods. For more information, see the Carrier Surcharge Article.


Insurance

If you have insurance included in your own BYO account, this will carry over with your BYO integration.

Get it Fast will exercise due care in delivering your order. Should your order/items be lost or damaged, you may be entitled to compensation of up to $100 (proof of order value will be required). Claims for compensation are assessed on a case by case basis.

Get it Fast does not accept liability for any consequential or indirect loss or damage arising due to any failure related to our service. The compensation offered with our service does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

In the event that there are missing, damaged or incorrect packages, please retain the item(s), indicate the problem and contact us within 48 hours of your delivery, by email or chat, to allow us to investigate the issue.

Pickup and delivery

You will need to contact Get It Fast directly for all BYO collection and delivery support.

Activation

Setting up a BYO account

To set up your BYO integration, contact our Configuration Team with your account details. You will need to have all of your carrier account credentials ready.

Our team will review your details and usually get back to you in 1-3 business days however BYO account activation can take 1-2 weeks to complete.

We will need your account credentials such as:

  • Get It Fast client ID

  • Get It Fast client secret

  • Get It Fast branch ID

  • Get It Fast account manager contact details
