Highlighted updates
Shippit are excited to announce these important new features.
Fallback quoting and rate card improvements
If you’re shipping with Australia Post or StarTrack, we can now configure a fallback rate so that if a carrier API fails or is slow to respond, orders continue processing without waiting for a live quote, allowing you to continue shipping even during an outage. You can also opt in to automated fuel surcharge updates.
For more information, see the Get to know Australia Post and Get to know StarTrack articles.
Upgraded webhooks
You can now configure multiple endpoints, apply granular state filters, and access enriched payloads with customer contact data. These upgrades make it easy to plug Shippit directly into marketing platforms.
For more information, see the Configuring a webhook article.
