October 2025 - Shippit: New updates, improvements and a few bug fixes

Updated yesterday

These release notes are for August, 2025.

🪧 This release contains new features and bug fixes since the last release.

Highlighted updates

Shippit are excited to announce these important new features.

Fallback quoting and rate card improvements

  • If you’re shipping with Australia Post or StarTrack, we can now configure a fallback rate so that if a carrier API fails or is slow to respond, orders continue processing without waiting for a live quote, allowing you to continue shipping even during an outage. You can also opt in to automated fuel surcharge updates.

  • For more information, see the Get to know Australia Post and Get to know StarTrack articles.

Upgraded webhooks

  • You can now configure multiple endpoints, apply granular state filters, and access enriched payloads with customer contact data. These upgrades make it easy to plug Shippit directly into marketing platforms.

  • For more information, see the Configuring a webhook article.

Other updates

  • Dragonfly is now available with Shippit partnered rates. The Dragonfly service provides fast, efficient deliveries for Shippit customers shipping small consumer goods.

  • Apple Wallet order tracking is now available for self-service at store and company level in your Shippit account settings.

  • Peoplevox now supports on demand.

    • The Peoplevox integration now supports on demand service window preferences.

    • For more information, see the Peoplevox integration article.

  • Our support is now agentic. Boosting our human-led support with smart agents for faster resolution, real-time updates and automated monitoring.
